How does the assessment work?

The CliftonStrengths assessment consists of 200 paired statements. You must select the statement that describes you best and the extent to which it does so on a 5-point scale. You will have 20 seconds to make each selection. By gathering your top-of-mind responses to the statement pairs, the CliftonStrengths measures the presence of your talent in 34 themes that Gallup has found to be indicative of success.

If you encounter a situation in which both statements describe you, try to select the one that is more accurate or describes you more often.

The CliftonStrengths assessment also saves your progress as you go, so if you get disconnected or have to stop, you will be able to resume where you left off by signing back into your account.

For more information about the CliftonStrengths assessment, go to the CliftonStrengths section in the Gallup Access help center.
